Referrals

Open Counselling receive self-referrals from individuals who want counselling for themselves or sometimes for their children.

Most likely you will speak to Cheryl Sandford who is our Managing Director and our lead qualified counsellor.

We only have administrative volunteer support one or two days a week so if our counsellors are busy please leave a message on the answer phone and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We also receive referrals from organisations including the Community Mental Health Services, Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Hertfordshire probation service, Local G.P. surgeries, and from other similar organisations.

Open Counselling accept referrals from Doctors, Parents, Guardians, Social Workers, Youth Workers and other professionals who feel their client / family member may benefit from the service.
